There are nearly 80,000 children in the California foster care system. For children entering the foster care system, every day is a challenge to beat the odds. Many of them are sick or hurt, and suffer four times as many emotional problems as other kids. To make matters worse, it’s a struggle to provide the basic needs that most children take for granted, like school supplies, shoes, toys or even warm clothes.
Each year, over 30,000 California children enter foster care. But it doesn't have to be that way.
With your support, Renegades can make a difference for foster kids in need.
This season Renegades will be holding two different drop off dates for our Renegades families to donate to help local kids in our area. Things like school supplies, new shoes, clothing, a Christmas present or warm coat. With your help we strive to help foster kids beat the odds. Renegades will be partnering with Sleep Train USA® to help distribute these items in both the East & South Bay area. For more information please contact us.

Day 1: Our first Renegades Gives Back collection was this season, was in conjunction with our annual coaches match. With an addmission fee collected at the match, the winning team was allocated 60% for a charity of choice, and the losing team took the 40% remainder for the charity they choose. Here are the final standings:
South Bay Coaching Staff- $92 For The CA Childrens Diabetic Assoc. &
East Bay Coaching Staff- $60 For the Susan G. Komen For The Cure.

| Day 2: Not only were we able to gather in celebration of a great season, byut also to give back to those in most need. We are so proud to announce we took donations of 56 sets of pajams for California Foster kids. This just goes to prove what a great & amazing group of parents and players we continue to have with us. |

| Day 1: Our coat drive was a HUGE success! We collected 87 jackets for kids in need! Was to go guys. We are so lucky to have a group of parents and players who care about others. |
| Day 2: What A Night! Not only was our End Of Season Party a night to honor our players and parents, but also a great night to help others. We collected 73 sets of pajams for California Foster kids. What a great way for us to give back to our community then to help thos in need. Renegades players and parents have shown time and again that they are the best club in the world by far. Thank you for giving! |
2009-2010 |
| Started in the 2009-2010 season, Renegades manages our annual Philanthropic project. In our first year we delivered 7 boxes (135 lbs. +) of food to our local food bank in a small token of our thanks for what they do on a daily basis and to extend a hand to our communities and be able to give something back. |
